1. By default, OptinLinks comes in Basic Mode.  When you’re ready to see advanced statistics, click the “Basic Mode” link at the upper right of the Dashboard to switch views.

2. Once in Advanced Mode, you’ll see extra pages listed at the top: Statistics, Split Tests, and Traffic Filters.  You’ll also see a few extra options and stats on all of your other pages.

3. Clicking on Statistics will let you see everything OptinLinks does:  Every single lead, optin, click, visitor and pageview is all displayed here.   You can tie it all together to get some really meaningful stats out of it all.

4. You can see and select the different kinds of statistics OptinLinks collects by clicking the “Show Stats” dropdown menu.  Here’s a quick breakdown:

a. Optins: This shows a list of those who’ve opted in.

b. OptinLink Clicks: Shows which form they viewed and who they were.

c. OptinLink Views: See every click an OptinLink receives.  There is a filter to view unique clicks and views, or all clicks and views. (Raw number vs unique number.)

d. Unique Visitors: We track each unique visitor so we can tie it to any interaction they have with OptinLinks.  You may see a lot of extra traffic.  Our system comes with most of the known bots already filtered out (covered later in filtering).  If you wish to add more, you can do so, for example if you’re getting lots of requests from a bot.

e. Page Impressions: You can see every single page view on your site, and what it’s been doing.

f. All stats by Hour, Day, or Month: Viewing stats by time can be helpful for making business decisions. (i.e., best time to run specials.)  This view makes it easy for you to see crucial information at a glance.  You can sort by visotors, impressions, and any other column by simply clicking on the column header.
